I believe that is a BDL custom deluxe. Basically the same as a BDL with the addition of what they call enhanced receiver engraving. Bob

I would say "it is purty" and agree with Bob

Yes, IF it had a box add a couple hundred/

WOW an engraved ADL, who would have thought it? Good eye Todd

Guessing 12 - 1500 but in these crazy times who knows? At auction you might find 2 guys that just have to have a SS custom deluxe and drive the price up or just one guy and he gets a bargain. Bob

I don't think it's a BDL, it doesn't have the black forend tip or grip cap. Does it have a hinged floor plate, DBM or is it blind? The stock looks like the ones that come on the classics, but as far as I can remember, they never made a stainless classic, or one that was engraved.

I would guess that it is an engraved ADL then. Very nice looking gun though.

I stand corrected, Toad is right about it being an ADL. I wasn't aware of any enhanced engraved ADLs, so I guess I learned something new today. Some saying about an old dog would fit in here.

Since it is an ADL that would downgrade my value estimate to 6oo - 800 bucks. Bob

After some more research, I'm not convinced it's an actual ADL either. Looking thru the BB of gun values, the only 25-06 ADL Remington made was a blued model, and discontinued in 1991. The only stainless ADL guns were 243, 270, 308 and 30-06, and they came with a black synthetic stock. It could have started out as some sort of stainless BDL, and then switched over to an ADL style stock and bottom metal. What is stamped on the recoil pad, maybe Boyd's? The barrel code looks to be AR, so it could be March of 1997, so itcould have started out as a 700 BDL-SS DBM model. Just a WAG though.
