Spot remover
Any of you all have trouble getting spots out of stuff. Since I'm on a bunch of blood thinners I get blood all over my t-shirts all the time and it won't come out in the wash even with bleach.
I got to digging through the cabinets and closets to see if June had anything in there that would work. It's amazing what I find around here since she's been gone. She had something for everything.
This stuff with an old toothbrush will remove blood stains that have been there for a long time. I used to wonder how she kept the carpet so clean.

Smitty, I find that just plain cold water and a bristle brush work fine. Colder the better. If the blood has set for a long time you just have to work a little longer and harder. If you dry clothes before all of blood is removed it will set the stain and make it almost impossible to remove.------------------------Ray
If the old blood stain is stubborn on something white like a T shirt and has not been dried yet, I use clorox cleaner which won't eat up the fabric.

Try "Tec" been using it for years. Best I've found for "carpets".

Hydrogen peroxide and vinegar will work also. I mentioned that at work once. A girl who was working thanked me noticeably interested. I found out a few years later that her husband had been bangin' on the side. Nothing ever happened but I thought back and understood her response to what I said that day.
