    Actually, a much better rifle than a 94. But I could probably pick up a decent model 94 for around five or six grand. 😉

    wow if only I knew I bought a new one for 79.00 in 1975 maybe 1976 from Woolworth first centerfire I ever owned

    traded it a couple years later for what I do not remember 😐️

    I see silly asking prices for JM Marlins.I dont know how many are selling at those prices but if the new Ruger Marlins turn out to be equal or better quality than the JM Marlins will that bring down the value of the originals?

    IMO, no, a JM stamped Marlin will always be that, look at the pre 64 Winchesters.

    After some research, I think I will retract my statement about something fishy going on. If you review the buyers feedback, they have purchased well over $50K worth of stuff in 2022, and all with good feedback from different sellers. Maybe someone won the lottery or got a sizable inheritance.

    I think I saw the Ruger Marlins going for about 3K? Pretty spendy for a 6-7 hundred dollar gun.
