22 years on GB
Yesterday was 22 years on the forums and buying guns, from Gunbroker. Thinking back about all the names and faces on here. I also made some very good friends, that I still see from time to time. The great ones we lost, and the great ones still on here. The knowledge , the laughs, the crazy stories and memories. Glad I joined. Oakie.

It's been 19 years since I found GunBroker.

I was on GB'ers for a long time before I even realized it had a forum, seems the forum info was way down at the bottom of the page and me trying not to being a bottom-feeder I completely missed it for years. š

Well sir- I do believe you have in fact watch me grow up on Gunbroker over that period of time.
Iām glad you are still showing up, wish it was a little more frequently.
I joined just before turning 21 to research which handgun to buy in 1999.

16 years for me.

14 years for me and has been a great experience from buying on GunBroker to the gained knowledge from the experts to the fun reading on the forum. Terrill

Old!! Heck! I still consider the year 2000 to be some kind of a sci-fi future event! š
Of course, I'm still lost in the 60's.

Mine says December of 2000, but before the Change I was listed as 01-01-01.
I was on the auction side before that.

Aug 2000 when I joined but followed for a year or two before signing on I was on another gun auction site for several years and on both for several years after and never had a issue buying or selling at the time I was a bit leery of GB so I just watched and read thru the forums
22 years and like most where did all that time go . lucky š²the mirror reflects the lost time is the sad part

January, 2004 for me. The forums have been a nice little āconstantā as Iāve moved 12 times across 9 different states.

I have been here since 1999 when GB started selling ... just dont post much anymore .. says 2001 for forums

...I signed up a few months after Nunn did, 1997-1999(?) sometime back then, a really long time ago regardless...
...I talked about "bass fishing" so much on here I guess GB didnt want fishing talk mixed with gun talk, so GB started the Fishing Forum...
....My old computer died and bought a new one that the GB computer did not recognize, so I had to start from scratch with 0 posts, nada, and no forum privileges...I had a different username back then, "Ruger something"...the last several years I had gone by the username "Colt"...but as said, GB wont let me into that account, and I have no clue why...
...HeDog, Hairy, ZipperZap, Tazzer, Danceswithsheep, Doug Wilson (RIP), several old timers no longer around...how time flies...

15 years for me. And the forums have definitely changed since then. Lots of people have passed away, been banned or just left. I think the rise of Facebook groups has facilitated a bit of this as they seem to be more active. But at the same time much more toxic.

12 1/2 years for me. I remember when I first joined thinkin' that a guy with the handle 'Oakie' just had to be from somewhere in Oklahoma!
