I have the very same typewriter and it is still working, 65 years later (2022). It just won't give up !

Still use it to print address labels.

Actual keys ... Pre-Selectric Rotating Ball.

they dont build any thing like they use to to last or to be repairable

I'm a 1957 model still some what working 🙄 OK in need of repair
I think my wife still has a old "portable " typewriter " some where around here .

I'm a 1955 model and I'm here to tell you, those OEM parts are damn hard to find !!! ... 🤣

what about a word processor? I seem to remember them as a short lived transition into computers ?
