A few years ago during March I had a service call in Weaverville NC,near Ashville ,and it was about 30 degrees and 4 inches of snow.2 days later I was in Walterboro SC and it was in the mid 70s and all the dogwoods were in bloom and the grass was green and growing.

Spent 2 years of my life in the Sumter SC area. No air conditioning back then and I agree about how hot\muggy the summer months were. I was used to cold northern winters but I remember how cold it felt when it was a whopping 40 degrees in SC!! I blamed it on the dampness and how quickly our bodies adapt to places. The blood does seem to get thinner.

The South SUCKS!! We have swamps, bugs, humidity, malaria, lots of that. Big poison snakes will sometimes come up right out of the toilet. You all wouldn't like it down here. We only live to be about 35 down here.

You may be joking Ricci but I do know that SC has some of the biggest cock roaches I have ever seen in my life!

To make us yankee's feel better, they have changed the name for cock roach to Palmetto Bug!! πŸ˜πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

We were down at our place (outside of Charleston) last month and it snowed!! Driving back to Wisc. near Lexington, Kentucky we had to pull off the expressway and spend the night. Traffic was at a stand still for hours!! Glad things are improving😎
