Happy National Pig Day
National Pig Day is an event held annually on March 1 in the United States to celebrate the pig. The holiday is most often celebrated in the Midwest of the US.
The holiday celebration in the USA was started in 1972 by sisters Ellen Stanley, a teacher in Lubbock, Texas, and Mary Lynne Rave of Beaufort, North Carolina.[1][2][3] According to Rave the purpose of the National Pig Day is "to accord the pig its rightful, though generally unrecognized, place" as one of the most intelligent domesticated animal.

I'd really love to join you with some ribs but had a molar pulled yesterday and it has not been a pleasant quick recovery. Probably be eating very soft, mushy foods for a spell. 🙁

Had some a couple weeks back. Wife got one of those instant pots that is a pressure cooker. Few minutes in it and then glazed in the oven... I am good to go. Keep taking the antibiotics.

Wow, we had breaded pork chops for dinner today, and I didn't even know we were celebrating such an important holiday. Wait till I tell my wife, she will be so proud of herself. 😁

my youngest son is a supervisor at a some what local hog farm . lot of good stories ( and a lot of hard work )
