Guess you're lucky. Most of the time, the packages get 'buggy' after a few months. Sort of makes one wonder how the eggs got inside a sealed package. OR maybe the packing area was infested with weevils and some eggs got included with the noodles during packaging?????????

Three minutes of boiling water is probably enough to kill any other 'infestations'-BON APPETIT

The problem that I am finding with over stocking the pantry are the expiration dates on many things. I recently grabbed a bottle of French dressing for a salad and the date was a full year past its prime! Checked on everything from dressings to steak sauces and all were outdated!

Took a chance on the French and ate my salad with no ill results but I could be playing Russian roulette with some of this stuff!

Expiration dates are just a suggestion!

There is so darn much salt in a package of Ramen, I don't see how they could ever spoil! Bob

I lived on that stuff during my college years.

About a year ago, my son cleaned out the crawl space shelves under the house he now owns and where I grew up. There were several jars of home-canned pickles that my mom put up and she has been deceased for over 50 years.

Pretty sure those pickles would be death defying food for human consumption! 😁

Just about the only time I cook ramen is to make Chicken Noodle soup for someone sick.  I add a little jalapeno, a can of chicken, and drop in an egg or 2 when it’s boiling and only use 1/3 to ½ of the flavor packet.

They were sick BEFORE eating that?

I am waiting on Genesis Arms Gen-12 upper to arrive for my AR10 lower (had the cash on hand). Will make a magazine fed semi-shotgun. It wasn't like the time I went on a lay a way for my Springfield "M25" White feather (where I dropped stupid money of $5500).

The eating of Top ramen was basically bad planning. I didn't go shopping after work and everything needed to be defrosted to be eaten so the Top Ramen was a quick eats.
