squirrel attacks on the rise
New Orleans radio reporting a 78 year old man was attacked by a squirrel today. man had to be transported to the hospital and the squirrel did not survive the attack. this is the second confirmed squirrel attack in New Orleans this year. those of you thinking of visiting the city be aware.

They’ve been watching the inner city shenanigans and figure there’ll be no repercussions for their aggressive behavior. Pretty soon they won’t have to scrounge or “perform” in public to get some food…the guvmint will feed them for free…in return for their votes of course.

When I was a kid an oak tree fell down in the yard and Mrs. Squirrel was killed. We took in two baby squirrels, Frisky and Friendly. We raised them for several months, I remember the little mite sitting on my shoulder while I fed him scrambled eggs for breakfast. Great pets.
After a few months we turned them loose, but they stayed around the house for years.
