Mushrooms are popping!!
Found my first Morels of the season yesterday. A few big ones too! Y'all better get out there and start looking if you haven't already.

Feast fit for a king, big plate of fresh caught wild trout, bait of kilt branch lettuce, and Morels simmered in butter.

It's been too cold in central Iowa. At least we have ample moisture this year.

Ground still frozen in the Yoop. No mosquitos yet.

I'm a little ways East of Kansas City MO. Had a few frosty nights but it has been staying relatively warm.

Not much here that I found in southern, Il. They are selling for 100 a pound and I seen people pay that at my local gunshop. Frost again tonight.
