Winchester model 70 pre 64 floorplate
Will a floorplate from a pre 64 Winchester model 70 long action fit on a Winchester model 70 post 64 ? I have a rifle made in 1964 that I would like to change the floorplate. Any info is always appreciated. Terrill

Depends on how much work you want to do on both the magazine cover (floorplate) and the stock. Check with somebody like Brownells and they can probably fix you up with one that needs no alterations. Bob
