Bad way to die. On the steps of the Supreme Court, you know a dozen people filmed it on the Iphones. I can't find a video but they did say he was screaming.

Sure does put that old song from MASH, "Suicide Is Painless" to the ultimate test!
Of all the ways to go, to be burnt alive has got to be the absolute worst. I did not read the story but whatever point this guy was trying to make must have really drove him nuts.

Wonder if he used regular or non ethanol ? Doesn't look like he got very good mileage.

My thoughts. Some chlorine in the gene pool.

Years ago I had the misfortune to be in the right place at the wrong time. Myself and two others drug a guy out of crashed Piper 135. I will never forget the sounds and smells of that day...
Mr. Bruce had serious issues.

I have worked a few calls like that. A house fire, couple of car fires. The smell is unforgettable, but, I'm still trying to forget.

Brings to mind the saying, "Nuttier than a squirrel t1rd!"
No idea what he thought he would accomplish. Maybe just his way of getting his 15 minutes of fame?
I was stationed at the Navy hospital in Danang, VN, and will never forget the smell of burning flesh while off-loading wounded GI's from medivac choppers.

Those climate folks should have paid attention to his method.

Too bad he did not a huge group of the green deal gang to hang on too

FIVE GOLD SOVEREIGNS to the man who posts the video of this event.

The smell of burned human flesh is unmistakable . Once you smell it you never forget it . My first was a couple burned to death in a car wreck . Over the past 40 years there have been a few more . Not something I want to repeat. Cannot understand anyone willingly doing that to their self .

When I was on the job, we carried Vicks in the patrol car with a couple of cheap cigars. When we had a body that was in a house for awhile, we would burn coffee in a frying pan on the stove..

Oh well.

We usually didn't get any heads up about the body unless it was called in on the initial tone out . The discovery usually was during the fire or wreck response . I have heard of using vapor rub in the past .
