I have an apprentice lion that likes to hang out with me. I think he identifies as a beagle. He comes when I whistle for him, and he likes to hunt- rabbits and squirrels. Thinking about training him to retrieve, then I could take him dove hunting. Loves to ride in the truck with me- standing on the seat, paws on the dash so he can see where we are going. At 13 lbs, our vet says they may be some bobcat in his ancestry.

I get them once in a while on one of my game cameras and usually see them at a distance every year when I hunt. They are interesting creatures for sure.
