Skunked
Today was opening day of spring turkey season. Had one gobling way to the north, one gobling way to the southeast. Probably 1/2 mile away. Never could get them to move any closer. Had gully flooding rain yesterday and high winds this morning clearing out the clouds.
Toms either didn't feel like investigating or they are henned up. Going to hit the woods again tomorrow morning. HHopefully I will have a little better luck.

You should have been in my backyard about 2:00 pm. We had 2 hens walking around looking for their sugar daddy.

Or you had a feller hunting to the north and one hunting to the southeast! Don

That feller up North thought he heard 2 also one to the South and one to the SE and the other feller that was SE thought he heard 2, and both were to the NW. 😉

We have 'em right in the yard all the time. Come on up, Susie. You and my wife can sip momosa's on the deck while you wait for the right one to come along.

@NeoBlackdog that would be some fine turkey hunting. Mimosas and a 12 gauge, what a combo.
