I like my work.
I am cleaning up a Rock Island Arsenal 1913 Cavalry Holster along with two matching magazine pouches. The leather is in nice shape just some of that tasty green lettuce that grows on all the brass. Verdigris is the correct name. The cavalry holsters differ from a regular 1911 military holster in that they swivel and have a thigh strap. There are also five WWI era two tone mags. A nice bit of kit altogether. Oh, there is also a factory letter from Colt.

I forgot. With the leather and mags came a 1920 Commercial Colt 1911.

Man, it's so old I wouldn't feel right about letting anyone else have it. What would happen if they tried to shoot a 100-year-old gun??

You should bolt a rail on the bottom and put a 9mm barrel in it!
