Black bears in the back yard
I was eating breakfast about 7:00 am and happened to look out in the backyard. Back by the creek bank was a Momma Bear and about 15' away was her cub. It was just before the sun came up and was very dim out. As I watched them, the Momma Bear split in two and wandered off in two different directions. I got up and went to the window to get a better look and discovered they were large black turkeys. Two of them had been standing in a straight line that looked just like a large bear.
I just saw two of them running across the backyard a few minutes ago. They were the biggest turkeys I have ever seen up here.
That's the great thing about living out in the country, there is always something interesting going on.

We have bears come through the yard and pull all the bird feeders down a couple of times a year.

bubba maybe you should back off the night befores refreshments if you have bears turning into turkeys in the mornings..............

I only have a Michelob Amber Dark Bock every Friday night with my homemade pizza. I'm pretty sure it had worn off by Sat morning. No, my problem is old age more than anything else. 😁

Just got home from Illinois, lock the front door, oh boy!
