Anyone Run MS Office 365?

I use OpenOffice (free) as it will read MSOffice files. OpenOffice works great.

Libre Office is 100% compatible with Micro$oft's Orifice, and completely free. It replaced Open Office years ago as the better office suite. Most Linux systems come with it built in. Get it here :

My employer has office 365 on all work computers. It is a necessary evil I guess.

At your work, it is. At home, you can use LibreOffice and still save all your work in M$ format. Your boss could never tell the difference because there is none.
For home use, 95+% of all of you could dump Windows entirely and never miss a beat. Except that your system wouldn't crash, would never be unavailable during updates, would probably not need anti-malware or anti-virus, would be much more private, and never cost you a dime.
You'd have a simple, intuitive layout (which you could personalize in almost any way you wanted); a web browser of your choice; an office suite; photo, audio and video editors; media player; games; and much more.

My wife purchased Microsoft Office Home and Student (Word) back in 2013 and I still use it. It was a one time charge that was really cheap at the time. I've used Word and Excel for years at work before I retired and I'm just use to it and like it better than any of the others I've tried.
Back in the mid 90s where I was working they sent a bunch of us to take a class on Microsoft office. They had to drag people kicking and screaming into the computer world back then. I remember I was sure glad I took typing in high school. A lot of those guys in our office typing with 2 fingers were worn out by the end of the day. You could hear'em groaning and moaning along with a few outburst of cuss words then they'd holler for the office manager to show'em where the hell their work disappeared to on their computer.

We all tend to "like" what we're used to, Smitty. That's why it's so hard to get people to try Linux or LibreOffice - or some exotic food. But sometimes all it takes is one bite!

Yep, that is true Mr. Raab. We get old and set in our ways.
