Today's "mass shooting"....what I know without anyone having to tell me.
I turned on the TV and the news broke in to tell how there has been "more gun violence" and a mass shooting has happened. It was at 2am after a bar had closed for the night. The videos show a lot of club goers wandering around on their cell phones. Its ridiculous how slanted they make this story to be from the very start. They refuse to admit this is totally due to a breakdown in certain parts of society. The nonstop glorification of being a criminal, total disregard for human life, and no real self respect or aspirations to be decent human beings. Its all because "there are too many guns out there." Its amazing how stupid and out of touch with reality it is.
They have a mother being interviewed who is standing somewhere near the scene telling everyone how "she wants answers" and she has been there for FIVE HOURS waiting on the police to tell her something. Then she starts laughing and going on about the meal she cooked yesterday for lunch and how her child had posted pictures of it on the internet. She's not at the police station, contacting a lawyer for her child....she's not at the hospital asking if her child is being treated or in the morgue. She's there "waiting for answers" in front of a camera with some nut job activist that is equally intelligent.
Its California....there were at least 16 people shot.....you can't have a mag over 10 rounds, so we know already this is going to be a lawbreaker. I'm betting democrat voter.....illegally purchased.....and it was all over some silly nonsense like an insult or wrong look by someone.
I hate how jaded I've become over things like this.....but I feel like they try to use these things to gain more control over us and I'm ready to argue with someone rather than wait for facts to come out.

"Wait for facts to come out." Because of how biased and slanted the propaganda is in todays sorry excuse for the so called lame stream media, it is possible that you could wait forever for the facts to come out if you are defining facts as being the truth. 😕

Spot on LF. Every mass shooting is politicized by DEMOCRATs and allies in the media. What is most disgusting is blame is always placed on a political foes such as Trump voters and the NRA well before the facts emerge.
What surprises me is how mass shootings are extremely rare and make national news while hundreds of murders happen daily in DEMOCRAT cities such as Philly, NY, LA, SF, Chicago, St Louis, Portland, Seattle, Houston etc. These DEMOCRAT cities have some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation and media rarely reports because it makes DEMOCRATs look bad.

My pet peeve with these incidents is how the "news" stations will hype the emotions of the events and pander to their emotion loving audience by showing distraught relatives and self-serving activists without making any effort to look into the causes, etc.
My BIG gripe is with the audiences that eat that stuff up. The more blood and emotion the higher the ratings and the better the station/networks think they are doing.
I feel a lot of the blame for a lot of the violence is the coverage of those events and the way the entertainment industry has shown violence as if it were the norm.

I wouldn't say it was a color issue ....but a culture issue. If you are surrounded with constant glorification of criminal activity....nobody around you has ambition or goals to make something of themselves using hard work or education .....multigenerational government assistance with no asperation to ever stop....and the attitude that anything different is selling out.....cannot lead to anything but constant headline news events and people living like animals.
There was a shooting at a mall here a few years ago where a 7 year old was shot. Of course it was some gang type thing where some 20-ish year old thugs got into an altercation and started shooting at each other IN THE MALL. The thing that was so sad to me was the picture of the 7 year old......it was some staged ordeal where he was standing in front of a Mercedes (logo by his little head) and he was holding a stack of money....like that was not the most ridiculous way to portray your small child and you cannot help but imagine this child would have grown up to be just like the people who killed him. Its just never going to end.

It is hard to separate the two.........in these kinds of shootings..........seems to go hand in hand. There was a big shooting incident on 6th street last year in Austin..........same thing.......a bunch of gang banging ner'-do-wells from Killeen.
Most of the lib city shootings are the same. It baffles me that the media refuse to truly identify the perps and society seems to want to ignore the issue. Whatever the reason......certain communities have issues that are not being properly dealt with.

When raising kids, it is very important to monitor the types of "friends" they choose to hang out with.
It takes a bit of psychology along with some finesse to steer them towards the right crowd.
