Canada to Cap the Market for Handguns With New Law
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government has introduced legislation that would put a national freeze on importing, buying or selling handguns. Trudeau said Monday that the government will cap the market for handguns. The government says the bill would also allow for the removal of gun licenses from people involved in acts of domestic violence or criminal harassment, such as stalking. The government also plans to fight gun smuggling and trafficking by increasing criminal penalties, providing more tools to investigate firearms crimes and strengthening border measures. Trudeau has long had plans to enact tougher gun laws. The introduction of the new legislation comes after mass shootings in Uvalde, Texas, and Buffalo, N.Y., this month.

Remember Old Joe says a 9mm bullet blows out your lungs while a 22 bullet can be fetch out and you can recover. So high caliber bullets must be all banned. I guess the only caliber allowed will be 22 short rifle in single shot pistol for hunting soon 😎

I had a talk with our HR and severl of the big bosses many years ago when I was working
for years people had guns in the cars and in gun racks in the trucks . as in Ohio it was commom
so they came out with a new rule no weapons allowed on there property
like peeing in the wind but I had to speak my mind I said any thing and every thing is a weapon all the golf clubs you all carry the base ball bats tire irons even the box knifes we carry don't believe me go to court and argue the golf club you just beat the fellow with was not a weapon you were just giving lessons
ther response we have people visit from all over, and one big wheel who I could tell hated guns . one story was a new yorker engineer applicant who reported he was scared to come in due all the guns in the trucks ..
and besides every body know a weapon is a gun , I said BS then post the rule as no guns not no weapons
side note not long after they out lawed people having a box knife that 90% of every one in the shop had to use and carry for there job
