There were no injuries reported besides the gunman. Police have yet to release the woman's name, though they said she's not part of law enforcement and is just an average law-abiding citizen.
Charleston police discuss the incident.

THIS should be plastered ALL over the news. Sadly, if you hadn't posted here......most would have never seen this.
GOOD people with guns is the only way to stop bad/insane people intent on causing harm!
Good for her! SHE is a hero! Response time matters, and she did an awesome job reacting to the situation!

Since 2007........ARMED!!!!![volunteer staff trained......armed.......concealed.........anonymous(who is carrying, and when)........EVERY DAY!!!!]

A search, for the Harrold, Texas school district, will yield a good read........about their proactive planning/execution.
"Their" $0.02 was well spent.........going on 15 years now.

I've actually read this story on several sites and all have been favorable to the woman's actions. Even U.S.A. Today, which doesn't exactly have a conservative viewpoint;
