Not an FFL but mine charges $20. flat fee so maybe you better look elsewhere. Mine has to have a state license and a federal one which costs a lot of money. Fees from GB include taxes from your state and a service fee from GB. Answered you nicely.

The local pawnshop does transfers for $25, which is typical here in Florida.

My FFL chargers $25 for a transfer which I think is very reasonable.

Mine only charges $10. I give him $20 & he expedites service with a smile.

Some people would gripe if they were hung with a new rope!

Are you guys finding some really sneaky ways to tack on excessive prices?

What do you mean? FFL fees come out on the other end, when the gun is delivered. We presume you know the dealer who receives your gun and what his fee is in advance.

I don't know of any FFL fees associated with Gunbroker, so what's your question?

I used to get firearms transferred into one FFL. Without warning, they quadrupled their fees for transfers saying it kept people from buying things from them. What I bought, was all out of production stuff anyway. It backfired on them. They were out of business within the year.

The FFL I have used since charged $10 for many years. He raised it to $20 recently though. That is still about the cheapest local rate. Shop around.

I support FFLs who don't want to do transfers on new current production firearms that they have in stock or can order. Seems foolish though to drive away customers when the firearm is something that FFL doesn't have/can't get.
