The next pandemic
Its Monkeypox!
Here is a map of where it is infecting people.
Its from Africa where there are a bunch of people who have it. It kills 1 in 10 people who are infected so its more deadly that c-19.

Let me guess.. Bill Gates just happens to have a vaccine for it, right?

I had Monkey Butt one time and it was no joke. I'll tell you that right now.

Looks like all us old farts that had a mandatory smallpox vaccine are ahead of the curve;
Monkeypox: a rare disease with low fatality rates
Several cases of monkeypox have been detected in North America and Europe since early May, sparking concern that the disease, endemic in parts of Africa, is spreading.Bob

Wars, pestilence...........just sayin!

NYC/CDC says to wear a mask. I guess they don't realize monkeypox is spread through contact.

Just got this from my great nephew who lives in South Africa.

Sounds like a disease that will require a WITCHDOCTOR for treatment to me. Heck! Pretty sure one of those would probably do a better job treating our current list of Ching Chong variables!

How did it get here ?
Someone had intimate relations with a monkey while in Africa and returned to the US
Same way that syphilis was transmitted to humans from sheep...................look it up.

It seems to be passed on by the alphabet community...men specifically. Both the guy pitching and the guy catching....😬

I suspect them Monkeys in the White House are carriers.

Its spreading!

It is from Africa but not a single case is detected in Africa on the above map. 😵🙈🙉🙊

Anti Kue ya i saw that also... figured maybe only showing where else it is?

There is now a 3rd case in the US. Someone tested positive in Ft Lauderdale FL. More cases turning up in Europe too.

Sounds like another good reason to secure our southern border. It is not just Mexican or Central American people trying to get in, there are also Haitian, Nigerian and Somalian refugees coming in as well.
The White House has been pretty quiet lately on that issue, but I wouldn't be surprised that it is as bad as ever.

I don't want to be 'that guy', but the atypical way in which this has spread/popped up almost makes it look like it was intentionally spread. There doesn't seem to be a focal point for the infection as with the WuFlu or ebola or any number of other diseases. It just cropped up all over all at once.
'scuse me while I go tie the chin strap on my tinfoil hat.

@NeoBlackdog from what I have read the focal point is in Antwerp and some kind of festival.

I have been vaccinated twice for small pox, once as a kid and again in 02 prior to the invasion of Iraq.
I worked in Africa for about 11 years total after I retired form the Army as a military contractor. I worked all over the place in 8-10 month stints and I saw people with this all the time. I didn't know what it was at the time but it was very prevalent in West Africa, I didn't see it much, if at all in East Africa.
I believe the reason there are no numbers in Africa is because like C-19 they don't really keep records of it and it is very common. When you to stuff like Ebola and WHO really gets involved they try to keep records and number much better.
I don't believe you have to have sex to pass it to someone else. I think close contact is enough, like riding on a crowded bus which is an everyday occurrence in Africa.
