How the hell do you have a problem with "feral" chickens?? It isn't that hard to catch a chicken, ring its neck, pluck it, and fry it up. The politicians make everything harder than it needs to be.

A "feral" chicken which there is none around here, or any chicken would last a day at most as there are coyotes, bobcats, hawks, eagles, weasels among other things that love chicken. Not a chance.

Possum is more of a "wet" meat where the chicken has drier texture. Possum slab on a grill charbroils it really quick and you might need a bucket of water to douse the flame, but it will come out as "flame cooked shank."

I reckon folks in Florida will be trapping them free range chickens to make it through biden years. Then they'll have the other, other white meat iguanas. Of course I'll go to jail for animal cruelty for catching them and eating them pests. Make sense of that.
