Chicken wings
I saw where some places are selling them at market price like you would lobster or high end cuts of meat.
One place sold wings for $13, now they are selling them for $27. I assume this is for 10 or 12 wings.
"Flour alone jumped 40 percent, oil 41 percent, butter 51 percent, and eggs surged a whopping 220 percent in the last 12 months"
The article also called the price hikes "Bidenflation" and stated it was at 9.4% and rising.

I really like chicken wings a lot. Having a very hard time paying the current asking prices for them right now.
Talking about this very subject with my wife this morning as she sent me to the grocery store. She replied to my grumbling about putting them down on the shopping list telling me that you are paying for mostly bones when you buy those damn things!
I just had to admit how right she was and scratched them off my list.

I like them but yes,they are mostly skin and bones with a little feather stubble thrown in for flavor and texture.

Me ,Not so much on chicken wings we did buy skinless chicken breast to feed our dogs for a long time always under 2.00 a pound and shelf s full now good luck finding any and now it's at 3.00 or more a pound
Several months back one of my sons told me the Mexicans he worked with were upset they said chicken feet yes feet use to be dirt cheap but the price went crazy even on them

i"ll say straight up I LOVE CHICKEN WINGS. my daughter makes a bourbon, honey, BBQ sauce we toss them in and they are delicious. yes each wing does not have a pound of meat on it, thats why you cook a lot of them. anyway a week ago at the keesler commissary they had gone up to 2.17 a lb. up from 1.76 a few weeks go.

I'm a breast and wings kinda guy. I will eat dark meat, but prefer white meat.

$2.17 a pound! Just got back from Krogers and wings were $4.99. At least 50% waste, bones, tips, etc.. So Sam06 is right the little meat you get is about lobster price. I like wings but I ain't paying that! Bob

Yep pretty much only buy the breast, once in awhile some legs to bbq...

Lately I have been buying big frozen bags. Never seem to make enough. WM has a 8 lb bag for $25, last I looked.

peta must be rubbing themselves silly with people not being able to buy meat at reasonable price. With burger chains pushing their "Veggie burger" Soylent Green ain't too far away. Population control and a patty.
