Glad to hear you survived. You'll think you're dying but you'll make it.

That damn morphine is overrated or at least the amount they'll give you. When I had surgery to remove a foot or so of my large intestine due to a blood clot that caused gangrene to set in they might as well been injecting me with water. Same thing with my wife's cancer. Taking it in combination with a handful of Dilaudid helps but doctors are so cowed down about losing their license they're afraid to give anyone enough to actually help them until someone gets so bad they get into palliative care or hospice care. All that is because of the chicken#%^^ lawmakers that don't give a damn about people that really need it due to the low life dope addicts that ruin it for everyone that's suffering real pain.

You know you're only allowed to take one of those out, right? If you do two then they have to start stuffing things back in there.

    Heal quick Mr. Shaw.

Wife had a kidney removed a dozen years ago. Wouldn't know it today. Take your time recovering & don't rush it. 🙂

Does that mean you'll be drinking 1/2 of what you used to! Seriously, have a speedy and easy recovery.

    Hi Gary,

Sorry to hear about your operation and wishing you a speedy recovery. I'll be getting a new hip next Thursday, but from what they tell me that should be minor compared with what you're dealing with.

We left Florida a year ago and are now back in New England full time. Lynn and I have fond memories of your generosity a few years back when you gave us a pass to Disney, and then another one for the next day because the weather was a bit stormy.

Hope you're able to feel steady improvement and a return to your former comforts.

    Rob Crosby

I’m home now but very ruff shape. They gave me OXY for pain and I’m not going to that any. I’ve heard that you can get addicted fast on them. I’ll that Tylenol and do a lot of bitching, lol.

Glad you are making progress. Just keep being a good boy and doing what the doctors tell you and maybe you will get a trip to Disney World as a reward. Oh wait... never mind.😉 Bob

I’m feeling better most days now. Trying hard not to lift or pull anything and open up the healing incisions. Got away from the house and were spending time at our camper in Crystal River fl near the beach. In another week I will be able to go swimming. Gag Grouper season is open now and I’ve been told no way I can go as those babies pull like a train going in the opposite direction. Maybe next year. Keep an eye on Kasey’s auctions as she is moving some of my Winchesters and Weatherby’s .
