Are these three crates exactly the same....besides the dates and such, 8mm mauser 680 rds?

I think I've got it figured out........MD 71 is the 8mm mauser....the MD 1908 is 7.62x544r.....from what I can tell??? Unless I have this all wrong.

The middle crate has 7.62 on it the other two have 7.92

Type and bottom crates are same caliber, different amount of ammo.

I think you are right, that 7.62 is Mosin Nagant ammo.
