Buc-ee’s
They recently opened a location in Kentucky. We were in that area yesterday so we stopped in just to look around. Very big, very busy, very clean. Brisket sandwich was pretty dang good too.

Love Bucee’s!! Folks who’ve never been in Texas think Sheetz and Wawa are big travel stops. However, Buccee’s is next-level! Great food. Variety of jerky is delicious….even if it is about $40/lb.
The one they were building off I-95 in SC should be done by now. That will be our midway stop on our move to GA.

...I too am a big fan of Buc-ee's...they have some good munchies, and a great place to kill an hour, check out the tourists, and all kinds of items from A-Z...I think if it can be hung, placed on a shelf or in a bin, they have it!...

Not to mention 50 gas pumps and big restrooms with lots of (for sale) art on the walls.
Went through one last week--cracked up the lady dealing some kind of edible when I asked her how many calories go through their doors every day. If it's edible and your dietician wouldn't approve they have it -- in three flavors.😏

went to one on I-10 in far eastern Alabama last week. fairly impressive place and they have plenty of manned checkout lanes, no waiting for anything. i liked the fudge bar and the 20 types of jerkey.

I drove past Buc-ees many hundreds of times on I 10 west of Houston. But I was in the Big Rig, no 18 wheelers allowed! Big busy travel stops, I could tell.

Pulled in to the gas pump towing my camper. Finished putting 30 gallons of gas into the tank and the dufus at the pump in front of me must have gotten sucked into the black hole that Buc-ees can become.
He/she didn't show up so I made the decision to back out into the cluster of vehicles behind me. I managed to blindly back out, turn and proceed to the back lot. Had to wait for a few. Son-in-law had gone to get a burrito for #2. She had a craving and pregnant women can't be denied.
So, I have been there but never went inside.

There is a new one in Daytona Beach that among other things has 104 fueling positions, 1,000 parking spots, 64 ice freezers selling 79-cent and 99-cent ice, 31 cash registers, 4 Icee machines, and 80 fountain dispensers.

There are now 2 Bucee’s in Florida on I95 one just outside if Jacksonville and the other in Daytona Beach.

When I was a kid it was Stuckey's at every exit from Tennessee to Florida.

I want their adult Buc-ee's onesies. Kind a like their "Christmas Story" pink bunny suit.

Live up north and have never heard of the place.

Dude I'm in California, who never went further East than Mesa knows about Buc-ees. Now if Iowa 80 had franchises along I-80 and a cute mascot that would be something.

The one near here has real gasoline. That makes two places for me to get unadulterated fuel.

I have drove all over the south and I don't recall EVER seeing one. BUT, now I will purposely check my phone on my next trip to find one and visit.

We stopped twice on our travels.....Karen is a huge fan of their bathing suits. I have an apology gift going out to Steve (so tired, busy Monday morning craziness) where I totally spaced out and just followed my GPS away without a second thought and missed our scheduled get together.

Buc-ee's is the bomb. For gas stations and convenience stores.

The Kentucky Buc-ee's will take up 53,000 square feet of space and have 120 fuel positions.
