Remington 760 forend

I have heard that the stock from a Remington 870 20 ga will fit the Remington 760 but what my question is will the forend from a Rem. 870 20 ga fit the Rem. 760 ? Any info is always greatly appreciated. Terrill

  By no means am I an expert on this area, but it seems that the magazine tube diameter on the 20/870 would be larger than the 760, no matter the chambering.
