Taurus Protector 38 Special revolver Schematic & Parts List
Does anyone know where I can find a schematic and parts list for a Taurus Protector revolver in 38 Special caliber?

Taurus listings are generally by model#. The Protector name is used for more than one model#. If yours is a model 85, Numrich (Gunpartscorp) shows a schematic.

This is not a Model 85. The triggerguard/grip frame is made of what appears to be plastic. I bought this on the auction side and it was not identified as to model number, just as a Taurus Protector in caliber 38 special. The bottom picture below is not for this item. I could not figure out how to delete it.

Looks a lot like the Taurus revolver my grand daughter owned. The one that would split .38 special cases about once or twice in every other cylinder full or so. They were not heavy loads, simply standard practice loads.

Still looking for a schematic & parts list. I believe the grip frame material is called a polymer.
