This case has always fascinated me. Used to be that Amelia Earhart was the biggest aviation mystery.

At a time when China has deployed 10 satellites to track down the missing Malaysian Airlines plane, the Malaysian government has called in a witch doctor to help track the missing plane.
According to reports in the Malaysian media, Ibrahim Mat Zin - a famous bomoh (shaman) who is also known as the Raja Bomoh Sedunia Nujum VIP - performed a prayer at Kuala Lumpur's airport on Monday to help track flight MH370. He was allegedly invited by the top leaders of the country.
And what did Ibrahim Mat Zin say? "I think the plane is still in the air or has crashed into the sea". He said he arrived at this conclusion using, "a fish trap hook and a bamboo binocular to search and ask for the victims to be found as soon as possible."
Understandably enough, the Malaysian government's move to invite the shaman has come under severe criticism as well as mockery.
A cynical Weibo user wrote, "Wow, that is exactly what I think too," upon reading of what the shaman had to say about the plane.

Only 1 person made sense on the whole show.. The Malaysia woman that said... she cannot accuse anyone of what went wrong till they find the plane and determine what happened.

It is odd that no trace of it has been found, but the ocean is a big place. I also think it was downed intentionally; it has happened before.

If it was landed in the ocean like Sully did on the river, without breaking up, it would have sunk with no debris floating except for an oil slick that would have dissapated shortly thereafter.

They have found some pieces from the plane. They found a flaperon that is definitely from the plane, it floated across the Pacific to Madagascar. This piece is about 8 feet long and 18 inches wide.

The experts found that the piece was not hurt and the plane could not have hit the water going straight down or it would have looked different.

Yes that one piece proves that the plane did not crash headlong into the ocean, but rather, it was carefully splashed down at low speed. The flaps were deployed.
