well i bought a triple K 10 rd mag for a 308/243. didnt really want a 10 rd mag but i got one for $25.00 new in the package so i thought why not. loaded it with the 300 savage rounds and it worked fine. its a little longer on the inside than the savage mag but it doesnt seem to matter. it will certainly erve as a backup. thank for all the replies to the original post.

  Better 'think' fast unless you buy under the name of 'Lurchman'. But you do have a week before the auction ends. This auction could get interesting. (No - I don't have one - so I won't be bidding.)
