Nothing can be done on the forums side (where you posted this) go to the auction side and this link: https://support.gunbroker.com/hc/en-us/sections/204608867-Resolving-Problems

Welcome to the forums, sorry you are having an issue, please come back again and be sure to read the guidelines where you would have found out there is no support for the auction side available here in the forums.

Been on Gunbroker 20 years and this is the first time I won an auction for a pistol and the seller told me it was sold to someone else by accident ... huh?

I've had that happen a couple of times, "Opps, we left it out in the shop and it was sold by accident. Silly us."

Sadly, there is nothing you can do other than leaving bad feedback:

I once bought a very hard to find Ruger 77 from a seller and after awhile of not hearing about a tracking number, I contacted him and he told me that it was a relist but he had not received it back from the first buyer. If I remember correctly, he said he had accidentally sent it out before actually receiving payment. I was pretty ticked off about him selling it without having it, and left him negative feedback. He then had the nerve to leave me negative feedback to which I responded. Support wound up removing my negative feedback and he changed it to a positive and simply stated that he screwed up the transaction. I truly think he changed his mind about selling to me because I was getting it at a real bargain.

Seller yesteday got exactly what Mark C posted. He canceled my purchase. F and what followed. Funny thing all of his handguns went up in price three times what you could buy a new one for.

Yep, happened to me a 2 week ago and at least half a dozen times on GB over the years. Learned nothing you can do and when you give the negative FB, the seller reciprocates and gives you an F even thought paid promptly.

Correct, but if you did your part and got retaliatory negative feedback, Support will investigate and remove it.

I just had this happen. Seller says in stock, “but those are for local sales only.” Yours is out if stock.” Like his dinky shop has several divisions. He Canceled order. And threatened retaliatory feedback if I dared post unfavorable. I sent support his email and they blocked his retaliatory f. I also reviewed him on bbb. Be glad to share more. Gun plumperof the first order, this clown
