Well gun control seems to not work very well in Japan and even Biden says a shotgun is all you need anyway.

Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has been pronounced dead after an assassin with a homemade shotgun fired several shots from behind, hitting him in the left chest region.
Shinzo fell to the ground, where he could reportedly be seen bleeding from the neck. After being rushed to the hospital, Abe fell into cardiac arrest and was unable to be revived.

Looks like the assassin missed with the first shot and Abe got confused and fail to duck before the second shot killed him.Never become too complacent in your surroundings, is what I got out of this tragic killing.

No but having black powder is practically banned now. They are slowly banning any type of explosive material for civilian use now.
