A very underrated drummer/musician.
Ringo Starr was appointed as Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire on March 20, 2018 at Buckingham Palace.

He was being passed over for inclusion in the R&R Hall of Fame as a single musician (he was already in as a Beatle) When Sir Paul made the phone call. Now he is in.

I enjoyed him and his gang known as "The All Star Band" some years ago. Got to see Billy Preston and Mark Farner, who were members of his group at the time. GREAT SHOW!
After the open air concert and taking a few friends home, my wife and I went to a nearby grocery store that was just down the road from the resort where the concert was held. At the store we ran into Ringo himself!! I got to shake his hand and compliment his fine performance in person!!
