German rifle

I found a rifle under a bed in my parents house. It has the G41 DUV 43 w/ serial #4108 but the rest of the parts aren't matching and my buddy thinks the stock might be changed. Any idea on the value of this? I asked a local gun shop and they said anywhere between 5-8k. Any advice is appreciated

  5-8k mismatch might be a stretch, nice item to find under a bed though. I looked under mine and found a Raven 25.
