I've had my dad up here for a visit the last 10 days. Gotta take him back home tomorrow. He grew up on a farm outside of Bend, OR and has been having a great time with the cattle, chickens, and especially the horses. He's gettin' around pretty darn good for almost 93 years old, thank God!

Wife, elder married daughter and family took me out for brunch yesterday to beat the crazy crush of people we experienced on Mom's Day. We weren't the only ones with that thought, but it was a very nice meal and visit.
Quiet day today. I'll watch the end of the US Open Golf and grill up some brats. New dramas on PBS Masterpiece tonight and perchance a nightcap of Scotch.

Been a great day here.....big breakfast, I am one of the door greeters at church so had the chance to wish Happy Father's
Day to all my friends there. My Bride took me my favorite diner for some great Fried Chicken and all the fixings. Youngest son, DIL and my grand daughter face timed me and tonight when the oldest son gets off work, there are some nice T-bones to grill....
A nice day indeed.....Hope you all have a good one !!!!

My wife made me a Father's Day pie. Had a piece for breakfast, then worked my butt off the rest of the day. Now I'm ready for that Tylenol.

Grandson came down with covid this week, so cookout plans were canceled. Wife and I put a chuck roast in the oven to cook all day, watched A&M beat the heck out of U. Texas, now kicked back with a nice Bourbon on rocks.

Boys showed up, took me out to Buffalo Wild Wings for Lunch.
Then off to Top Gun. ( it's great). See it !!
All back to my place to set on the back deck with a few beers.
Burgers on the grill to round it out.
Weather was great and so was the company.
My wife left me with the boys, had to go see her mom (she's starting to get a bit forgetful).

AMEN, We had the kids, the grand kids and Wifeys parents over for dinner and ice cream.
