the heat index here in WVa is 108, thermometer on back porch is right close 100............ dog goes out and pees, thne just flops over and looks back at me like he had run a marathon, don't think he/we are gonna get our evening walk in

It only got to 70 today, a cool front sandwiched between 95-degree days. Got a smattering of rain with it, a whopping tenth of an inch, which explains why our relative humidity is way up there at 23%.

97 in southern WV today, don't know what the humidity is but the air is heavy. Can't do anything without sweating profusely. I would like to fish but the fog is so heavy on the lakes in the morning and when it lifts you only have a couple of hours before that big sun ball comes out and makes it miserable. Gas is so high anyway it costs about $70 in gas for the truck and boat. I'll just stay home, do a few odd jobs and hopefully stay cool.
