Prayers for that gent, and any First Responder anywhere. I have over 50 years working with Commercial and Military high explosives, certified to teach in that field- and fireworks scare the hell out of me.

Back in 2011 company was disposing of illegal seized fireworks at a facility in Hawai'i. Had a whoops. 5 dead. All of the quality control that goes into commercial explosives- yeah it ain't there with fireworks. Least bit of static or friction will ignite flash powder.

    Prayers for all the volunteers.

They risk their well being and provide a service that we could never afford.

Burns are about the worst injury you can get. Very painful for a very long time. Horrible.
