I(the store I manage) was recently sued for $12,500 for a meme I shared on the 4th of July in 2018. Insurance Company handled it(paid).

Lawsuits are getting out of hand, currently embroiled in a frivolous one where the ex girlfriend of a good friend of mine is trying to sue me for $250,000. This is going to get interesting for her.

Sick of dealing with courts a lawyers. No wonder everything costs so much when every business and insurance company is getting sued left and right everyday.

That woman should have known before getting into the back seat of that car! Geico Lizards are notorious for harboring STD's! 😁

"Sick of dealing with courts a lawyers."

Forty years ago, there were 2 maybe 3 lawyers in the 2 counties closest to where I live. Now, there are 3-4 PAGES of lawyer phone listings for the same area.

Solution to the lawyer issue: line all of them up and count off 1-10. Make 9 of them disappear which will leave a lasting impression on #10.

Shakespeare's Henry VI, Part 2, Act IV, Scene 2.

"The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers".

I thought it was a joke and it is, on us. Not a chance in hell that should have even been in a court let alone win money. Geez what a complete crock.

I won't argue with the "Anybody can sue for anything" rule, but it should have the proviso that the loser has to pay a large fine. If the suit prevails, that's the big corporation or whatever. But if the claimant loses, the fine should be a large percentage of what was sought.

Sue for $5,000,000 and lose? You now owe $2 million to the winner.

Winning a law suit is one thing. COLLECTING on a won law suit is a totally different animal!

when I took my CC class almost or close to twenty years ( not even sure any more ) the class got on the subject of no winners in any shooting due to courts and lawyers .. one fellow stood up say we need to hang all the lawyers they cause so much trouble got a big laugh well we found out he was a lawyer even his tags were personalized on his BMW .. but it was good to see some one not afraid or mad over a little fun and finger pointing .

Good News: A busload of lawyers ran off a cliff.

The bus was destroyed and there were no survivors.

Bad News: There were three empty seats.

🤬 Frivilous lawsuits were, are, and will continue to be one of the deaths of the American economy. I like Rocky's suggestion where the person filing should have to pay some towards the claim, especially if it gets thrown out.
