I saw some Youtube vid with a Cargo Container CarCon parked on a lot way up in the mountains miles from any road.

Put 40lbs pack on and walk into the mountains for 3 days . You will come to the realization that bugging out is like when you see refugees.

I am too old to run however I do live in a Rual area though not as Rual as I would like 😁 lf I was a young fellow no family I would consider heading for the hills I have seen some impressive hold outs when the prepers TV show was popular

I'm already "bugged out" in my country home with over 23 acres, all the firewood I will need for the next 5 lifetimes, and all kinds of wild game, enough guns, reloading equipment, and the desire to defend my wife and I.

Yep, me too. I'm already bugged out!! Everybody I was going to protect in a SHTF situation is already dead or lives over 3,000 miles away so I have no need to run. I'll just met them here at the front door when they get brave enough to come and try to take what ever it is they're after.
It would be a surprising and terrible way for a bunch of young people to die trying to take down an old man that they thought was helpless. A lot of these skin heads or nazi's or what ever they're called watch to much TV and don't realize what it's going to be like in the real world when the SHTF for real.
