Gas broke $5.00 here yesterday in SE WI
Went to the day job yesterday morning, gas was $4.89. On the way home in the evening, it was $5.09.

I would be ecstatic to see fuel at that price, that's over a buck and a half cheaper than it is here. I just paid $5.75 a gallon for diesel.

At that price I'm surprised they don't have EMTs stationed by the gas pumps with defibulators to restart hearts when people see the prices!!!!!!!

That is what it feels like around here. Every time I go by the gas station I have to guess what the price will be. Today it was $4.65 per gallon.

Paid over $4 Friday for regular for the first time ever. Back in the day Louisiana produced enough to keep prices lower than a lot of places. I guess $4.10 is still less than some, but it`s getting out of hand. Glad I live a couple hundred yards from my office, but it's about to get too hot to walk.

Regular gas is $4.49 all over central Florida. It was $3.79 the last time I filled up, which was back in April.

The great shakedown cycle on the average American has begun, get ready for some great deals from those that have lived way beyond their means for several years. Outrageous luxuries and expensive toys will be going cheap and those that saved those dollars when times were going good instead of spending will benefit.

Filled up yesterday with the board price of $6.39 but at the pump $6.29. Printed out a receipt if there is a issue on my bill.
If this drags on I may have to look for a job closer to home (read walking distance) at minimum/starting wage of $15/$17. Saw my local Mountain Mikes (pizza joint) two blocks away was hiring. I could have my own version of "American Beauty" minus a wife who hates me and minus a weird son. Going back to my first job as a pizza boy.

The price is $4.52 a gallon here. In the state of NC my gas buddy tells me its $4.24 a gallon in Sanford NC is the cheapest price.

Same here in Utah. Was $4.79 at 7 am and $4.99 at 11 - and EVERY gas station changed in that time.

I find it interesting that, in some parts of the country, programmers are scrambling to revise gas pumps to be able to display/function at prices greater than $9.99 per gallon.

Everyone who thinks they are dumb, are simply wrong! They are smart, and doing EXACTLY what they have planned!

I was out and about yesterday running errands and every station I passed by was $5.19 for regular. I forgot to take along a couple of 5 gal cans for mower and yard equipment, so I'll have to run out this afternoon to get them filled. Lord knows what the price will be today. I hate winter but sometimes it is good the grass mowing season stops in the fall in Michigan. Otherwise we would be talking a home equity loan just to keep the grass mowed.😖 Bob
