Played to the tune of the 1812 Overture: "It is the cereal that is shot from guns" Puffed Wheat

The cigarette commercial "A silly millimeter longer" 101 was the short lived brand name.

Then there was that one with the young Italian boy, forgot his name but the song and kids running to the tune: " There having Beefaroni. My words may be a bit off but......"Beefaroni's really neat, Beefaroni's fun to eat, Beefaroni's really sweet, Hurray! We're having Beefaroni!!"

I recently bought a can of that stuff because it was on sale and I hadn't had it in some 50 years or so. It was just pure crap and really gross!! The "BEEF" they use in that stuff is akin to Taco Bell floor droppings where the 10 second rule was extended to a full week on the floor!

I wish that Frito's would bring back their Frito Bandito! 😁

"Grab a bucket and mop. Scrub the bottom and top. There is nothing so clean, as my burger machine!

You deserve a break today. So get up and get away to .........!"

I think there would be a loud commotion if they started using the old Frito Bandito song !!!! 😲

Adolescent boys saying, "Loose Straps Mean Floppy T+++++++!" Dang! I am old!

    How about "The Quicker-picker-upper"

    "It's not a car, it's a Volkswagen"

Winston tastes bad like the last one I had,

no filter, no flavor, just the cotton pickin' paper.

No filter, no flavor, just wrapped in used toilet paper is the way I heard it eons ago.

The last "ditty" I looked into was about some kid named Jack who had a thing for a gal named Dianne.

The author had some trouble identifying himself between a cougar and a melon but he must have figured it all out at camp.

Back in the day, many of these ditties came from the public via jingle contests. Now they come from advertising consultant firms. I recently heard a comedian on Laugh USA do a bit on what the Liberty Mutual Insurance board must have initially thought when their ad consultant presented the mega-bucks jingle, "Liberty, Liberty, Lib-er-ty. Lib-er-ty." Hilarious!

Don't think I saw this yet...

    A little dab'll do ya

As a side note, If I were Dinah Shore's kid, I'd have a really neat name.

Apparently Don must be a member of Liberty Mutual's ad consultant firm.

This new commercial from Amazon about a mother talking to her daughter.......

A mom decides to give her teenage daughter "the talk." She explains that although her daughter might feel the urge ... to buy things at full price, Amazon has low prices on everyday essentials and free shipping on millions of items. During this talk about safe spending, the teenager asks about the meaning behind "bang for your buck."

You know austin, at my age a cougar would have to be older than dirt to fit the definition. 😁
