Have looked over some large bulls in my life, but I’ve never gotten to lay eyes or glass on something like that in the field.
The closet I’ve came is I did get the opportunity to glass this bull on the elk refuge a couple different winters, he had a big following of photographers, so one always knew when he was visible from the road.

That kids red hair would be very hard for that elk to ignore! One of my sons was a red head (just like our mailman) and he was attacked by one of our roosters and a goose we owned on a regular basis.
I made soup out of both those birds and also never gave any Christmas gifts to that mailman! 😁
