FEENIX just checking in part III
I am thankful that I am still alive and well.
It has been a rough couple of years.
- In late 2020, I got hit with Covid/double lung pneumonia and was teleworking for over 3-months.
- In 2021, I had three surgeries (carpal tunnel on my left wrist and elbow, right rotator cuff, and they removed a cancerous cell on my liver). Luckily, it was caught early and did not need chemo. I went through two 90-day observations and completed my 5-month observation a couple of weeks ago. All my blood works and CT scans were good. I am now under a 6-month observation.

I am sure many will recognize this part of a song lyric
And the sign said, "Everybody welcome. Come in, kneel down and pray"
But when they passed around the plate at the end of it all, I didn't have a
penny to pay
So I got me a pen and a paper and I made up my own little sign
I said, "Thank you, Lord, for thinkin' 'bout me. I'm alive and doin' fine."
