Monday nite eats
Our volunteer fire dept business meeting is tonight. Members take turns cooking tonight we had pancakes ,bacon, sausage ,scrambled eggs ,and grits . Breakfast for supper is great

Allen ,new volunteers are always welcome . We meet every Monday night at 7pm. First , second and 4 monday nights are training .Third mondays are business and eating meeting . Only problem I see is your response time might be a little long.
All kidding aside , volunteering is a great thing to do . ALL volunteer depts are always looking good help.

close , I made bacon hash browns and scrambled eggs and toast for our dinner tonight
granted a little skimpy tonight as we have breakfast for dinner to break up the routine , but normal when we do we also add in gravy and biscuits and sausage and fried eggs
will add both our family's being southern hers from Ky mine from Tn . I have never even tried grits she said she did not like them when we first got married and going over likes and dislikes so 45 years later, I still have not taken the first bite of any .
I figured if she did not like them I would not
same with hominy , another southern dish now my parents ate it but i could never stand it

Pulled 30 plus years on a VFD. First Thursday night in the month was the county assn. meeting.
Host department fixed vittles, boy howdy could some of the ladies and gents cook.

Our local fair grounds is always having some type of home made breakfast-lunchs going on. Good eating.
