and as a kid ( not so much now, ) Walt Disney all the mini series about kids and there adventures too many stories to list them all I know enjoyed them all . I am sure most oll you had a favorite a lot of memories of Sunday night waiting on there show to come on

will add in a few more I know there was more I watched but for now theses come to mind lost in space , bat man , super man , sky king , buck rogers , green hornet , twlight zone, outer limits ,

so many shows that were fun had some basic life lessons tossed in and drew in a large audience with out nudity or fowl language not I do not like those shows ๐Ÿ˜ also

I remember when we only received two stations.

Saturday night "Lawrence Welk" was opposite "Gunsmoke.

Mom was a big LW fan.

    Didn't see much Gunsmoke

My bed was next to the wall the TV was against.

Saturday morning cartoons after a Friday night FB game came waaay too early and my younger siblings couldn't understand "quiet"๐Ÿ™„

I think most folks tuned in to that show to see if this week was the week poor ol' Jim got tusked!

Another blast from the past for me was the show "Fury" about a boy and his beautiful black horse. From memory I believe Peter Graves (James Arness's brother) was the adult star in that show along with a cranky old man named Pete.

At our house we had to play with the TV's rabbit ear antenna quite a bit to pick up programming coming from across Lake Michigan. Would get Green Bay WI that had shows that were unavailable in our 2 channel neck of the northern Michigan woods.

So many old TV shows that were just fun back in the day really about all them

    Waltons mountain

    Green acres

    Andy griffin

    Gomer pile

    Ed Sullivan

    Smothers brothers

    He haw

    Bewitched

    Flipper

Voage to the bottom of the sea

    time tunnel

    Mr Ed

    Roan and Martin

    Petty coat junction

    Beverley hillbillies

    Happy days

    Dark shadows

The list is just way too many to list them

just think of how many western shows

Not to pull it down i but think of the majority of cast and crew of our old favorite shows are no longer with us

But thanks to the internet and countless programs and channels all the old shows will live on long after were just faded memory's also

Just my two cents. Remanicining takes us all back to our youth and much simpler innocent times Even for the country

    At least for me
