SNAP/BLAAAAMMMM/OOOFFF!!!!
My young Border Collie, Lola, will not hop up on our bed. Mommy yelled at her once when she hopped up on our bed and that was the end of that. I can't even treat her to jump on the bed!! Both BCs are terrified of my wife. I do not understand this because my wife wouldn't hurt a flea.
So last night there was a thunder storm. One of those super close lightning bolts hit. You know what I mean, you hear the snap then instantly you hear the super loud BLAM!!
Lola instantly landed on my stomach. Lord Lola was scared!! She laid with me shaking for at least five minutes!!
The end result was I have a sore stomach today. I actually feel kind of good about this. When Lola is scared she goes to Daddy!! Ain't nobody meaner than Daddy!!! 😂😁😂

I have to agree with your wife, no dog will ever sleep in my bed either.

My lab Milo wasn't allowed on any furniture but sure was afraid of thunder and lightning. When we had those bad storms I would get down on the floor with him until the storm passed ................... he always thanked me with a tiny little kiss on my nose.
Man I miss him ..................................

I love a storm and so do my dogs.

At this point, neither does the wife AND I'M NO COMPLAINING.

Yep, my dog doesn't like thunder, big trucks, fireworks. She hides behind the couch. She will not go out side on 4th of July or New Years. She holds it till the next morning.
