They were not going to be canceled. Just what was "Racist" about the show?

Not sure about the racist aspect, but "Penny" is the reason to watch anyways.

    Have to agree with that.

I believe you are missing the point. Who was the biggest racist? The Jew? The guy from India that made all the brown skin comments to the blacks? The supposed smartest genius in the bunch that had no concept of social interaction?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

I was also a fan of Bernadette

The show did not seem to want her competing with Penny for the shows looker so for the most part they kept her a little consivertive in dress and air time

But for me I favored her .obvious she is conceling some nice hardware

Yupp, you got that right. When someone uses that term to brand any and everything that they don't like or agree with, it makes the term without merit and meaningless. Bob

Pretty much every episode and when Mrs. Cooper was on it was "extra" racist (and I liked her best).

Only reason she was the focus for the fellers was because she was the only one doable on the show until other girls showed up.

If they're the only choice Bernadette. Also if you're a fan of Bernadette look for a movie on Blu Ray "Bronze".

    The Bronze (2015) - IMDb
The Bronze: Directed by Bryan Buckley. With Melissa Rauch, Gary Cole, Thomas Middleditch, Sebastian Stan. A foul-mouthed former gymnastics bronze medalist with local celebrity status reluctantly trains a rising Olympics aspirant.

Bernadette would be OK until she talks! Her voice reminded me of fingernails on a chalk board combined with my dogs favorite squeaky toy! 🤐

Any time there's a mention of a call center or when they pick on Koothrappali. "Oh, sure. Cut the foreigner in half. There's a billion more where he came from" comes to mind.

Sad to say but so many of the old movie stars maybe even now especially the women

the popular rumor I will pas along as I was not there dang nab it lol

they had many miles on the casting couch to get there fame and acting jobs in so many movies and TV shows of course many of the male stars went for test drives on the new talent

Now honest if I was in ther position had there looks and opportunities and was sure to make millions of dollars let's just say

I can't hold it against them think about it this way

many did it for free and have a crappy life any way might as well make the best of it At least have a boat load of money to go with the crappy life

When my sons went off to college, I started watching it. Mainly because my oldest son liked it and we would watch it and text comments about it back and forth... It was a weekly contact that lasted all they years he was away...

Me too. Friends seemed not funny the few times I stopped for a minute. Oh well, I later found out my technique went horribly wrong on 'Married With Children'

There really is a difference between racist and satire dude. I think you missed that distinction.
