The Unite Nations Condemns Russia Annexation of Territory in Ukraine
Seems to be a big problem now coming on line in The world of governing of The United Nations with One principle founder country being the culprit. Can't Russia just over turn the decision of any resolution passed?
Will they overturn this clause in this case and fund A U.N. an army to dislodge the occupying power? It's getting dicey now in the scheme of things and could Putin be the cause of WW III soon?

The Secretary-General stressed that as one of the five permanent members of the Security Council, Russia “shares a particular responsibility” to respect the UN Charter.
“Any decision to proceed with the annexation of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine would have no legal value and deserves to be condemned,” he said.

The United Nations should be abolished. It rarely does anything good and costs a ton of money to exist. With the makeup of the security council, it's no wonder it's an abject failure like China and Russia are for good world order......NOT!

I've honestly NEVER understood why we gave them seats on the UN Security Council for example, ANYTIME the US, UK, or France suggest something it pretty much ALWAYS gets vetoed by Russia and China. You literally can't get ANYTHING done with them on the Security Council, not that I believe the Security Council or the UN as a whole really accomplishes a whole lot. There may be select things that they have a positive impact on world hunger, disaster relief and stuff of that nature, but I haven't looked at the numbers so I may be 100% wrong on all of the above. One clear example of their uselessness is when there was the war in the Balkans in the 90's, when a bunch of refugees took shelter inside a town that the UN had said was under it's protection and was a "safe area" yet they allowed the Srebrenica massacre to happen and didn't lift a finger to stop it even though it was happening right in front of them. While I do think that we need some sort of organization that every country takes part in as a way to help one another, settle disputes, etc. I don't think the UN is of any use anymore. They either need to get rid of it and come up with something new, or revamp it completely which I honestly doubt either will ever happen.
