I got JIPPED
A few weeks ago.................when my post count started regressing. Due to a supposed "system glitch". Thought I had reached 5000.........then 'lo and behold I lost about 30 posts.
This is post #5000 (maybe).............
No giveaway...............but I have been here 20+ years now.............guess I am and old timer. Certainly older now.

I'm truly at a loss for why folks trouble themselves over post count. There are no special privileges with that or with any of the badges you can now collect for that matter. If it's some sort of bragging right, I'm at a complete loss as to why.

looks like gyp is the act of deceiving a person............when a person has been jipped..........the language and spelling and past tense make a difference.
